Expectant and Postpartum Moms
Am I nuts? I am considering going to Denver for a few days in June. I will be around 31 weeks. Is that totally nuts? Obviously I'll talk to my OB but I thought I'd ask in here....
Nope - not nuts. Went to Florida between 31-33 weeks and had a great time. Obviously any complications could change your plans, but for a normal pregnancy, you should be fine.
I'm in FL right now and enjoying it. OB said no travel after 36 weeks.
I know everyone is different, but I'm currently 31 weeks and feeling great. I am regretting not scheduling a babymoon. I was hesitant because I wasn't sure how I'd be feeling, but honestly, I wish I had just booked something.
Just be sure to buy travel insurance in case you develop complications prior to your trip
Not positive, but I think there might be a particular problem with Denver and the altitude in later stage pregnancy. I would def talk to the doctor. I have a history of problematic pregnancies, so for me there was no way. But for my first (pre-problem) pregnancy I remember my doc saying anytime up until 28 weeks was fine.
But look carefully at what it covers. We found trip insurance did not cover a lot of pregnancy related issues. |
