| I really like the opening credits scene of Gentleman Jack. |

The terrific theme song (and its many versions, tailored to the themes of different episodes!!) for the show "Psych." The theme was written and performed by the series' creator and his band. When the show did an episode involving a "boy band," Boyz II Men sang an a cappella version. When the show did a "Twin Peaks" homage/parody episode, Julee Cruise (who sang the original "Peaks" theme) arranged and sang the "Psych" theme with a completely Peaks vibe. For an episode set around a telenovela, there was of course a version in Spanish. And on and on. So much fun. And the theme song is so perfect for the show, lyrically and musically. Just the best match of song and show ever. And such a joy to hear all the versions. Psych fans never hit "Skip Intro"! |
| The Peacemaker. The entire cast does this amazing choreographed dance number and it’s AMAZING. It has nothing whatsoever to do with the plot of the show, and none of the cast are actual dancers, and it’s set to a fabulous 80s-style glam rock song. The show creator just really wanted a dance number. I love it so much. |
| Welcome Back Kotter. I love the song, the Brooklyn "scenery," everything about it. |
This is a good one, I loved that one too. |
| Two of my favorite theme songs are from "The Greatest American Hero", "Hill Street Blues" and "St Elsewhere" so I love those title credits. |
Three, because I can't count. |
| Good times |
|
MASH, both the movie and the TV show. I liked how they echoed a lot of the same views and perspectives of war from the movie theme to the TV theme.
Still one of the most moving and best shows ever. |
