Mid-Tier girls league?

Is there a girl's league that sits between rec and NGLL? My daughter has spent most of her time playing rec and wants more (middle school), but I don't think is committed enough for NGLL, and lacrosse is her second sport.

If so, are there specific teams one could recommend that play in those leagues?

Many clubs have a second team and if playing in the NGLL play in the lower division. Downside is you pay as much as the top team typically, so do your research on coaching. You want them to have permanent coaches who are focused on team and individual development.

There are some clubs that do "play days" as opposed to NGLL in the spring. You can look at those types of clubs.

This sounds like a good option. Do you know any specific clubs that offer this?

In Montgomery County, your options are in order of competiveness:

NGLL “A”
NGLL “B”
MGLL “Select”
