I've been happily using Nars blush, lipstick, and lip glass in neutral colors that the magazines say work for everyone (i.e., orgasm, and dolce vita). It's time to restock, and I was thinking it made sense to go to the counter and ask for a make-over to see if there were better colors for me to use (vs. just buying the old stand by).
1) Do any of you recommend a Nars makeup counter/associate who can give me good advice on colors? 2) Any of you love any of their other products? |
I used their foundation about a month ago and it broke me out very badly on day 1...I returned it
I used Nars Orgasm blush for the longest time. I recently switched to Lorac matte satin blush. I forget the color, but it's a little brighter than the Nars Orgasm. I love it and will not go back to Nars blush. The Lorac blush stays on longer through the day.
Love The Multiple stick thingy they make. I have Copacabana (a light shimmery one for highlighting) and Palm Beach (dark bronze) to make myself look tan. I will say though that like all creamy blushes, they work better if you don't have to wear a ton of foundation. I like to use these when I'm not wearing any foundation at all.
I got some Nars stuff many years ago at Blue Mercury in Dupont Circle... they did a whole makeover for me. According to the website they they still sell Nars there.
