Near Bethesda but I'll drive anywhere good
Toyota rav4 hybrid if that matters |
| Jiffy Lube |
| I alternate between the dealership (mine is near White Flint) and the Mobil 1 drive-through place in Kensington. |
| Dealerships often have competitive pricing on oil changes. check their website for "service specials" or "service coupons". The idea is to get you into the service department so you can be pitched a range of "recommended" additional but usually totally unnecessary services. Just decline those and you can usually get a well-priced change performed while you wait by people who know how to work on your vehicle. |
| Lube center in Washingtonian. A little pricey but my time is worth it. |
Jiffy Lube once neglected to put the cap back on before adding the new oil, leaving me stranded on the side of the road with a dead engine they only agreed to replace after I threatened to take them to court. So, would not be my recommendation. |

Mobil Lube Express - 10635 Connecticut Ave, Kensington, MD.
It's basically a drive through. Fast and easy. |
Due to these service coupons all my oil changes on my current vehicle have been completed by the dealership. On my old vehicle I used to go to Walmart. |
Hell NO! |
| Circle Exxon at Conn. and Morrison. Great service, very reasonable prices. Don't buy your gas there though- as that is marked up. |
Similar to what happened to my sister too. |
Im the first PP that mentioned this place and went the other day - it’s now been purchased by Valvoline and won’t be reopening for a couple weeks. I went to Jiffy Lube for the first time instead - is that bad? |
If you still have oil in your car, they evidently put the plug back, so you avoided that scenario. As long as you didn't pay for any other services they claimed you needed, you're OK |
