If so, what was your experience like? I know there are horrible shortages right now for many car models, but not sure how applicable this is to the Palisade. Are they currently available for MSRP or is this another situation where buyers are forced to pay a big premium? We're willing to buy out of town if it appears that would save substantial $$.
Also interested in the Telluride, but I assume that supply situation is much worse. |

a lot of people bought them the first year out, rule #1, never buy a car the first year it is available.
The safety reports on crash tests just came out and it didn't do very well |
This isn't exactly true. The 2022 Palisade is an IIHS "Top Safety Pick Plus" and received high scores in every test category with the exception of an updated (i.e. more rigorous) side impact test just released by IIHS last October. It also received top scores on the original side impact test from last year. https://www.iihs.org/ratings/top-safety-picks?tspPlusOnly#award-winners Many SUVs scored lower on the re-designed test, including the Honda Pilot (which has been out since 2016) and Nissan Murano. Only one out of 20 smaller SUVs (the 2021 Mazda CX-5) earned a good rating. |
