| Hello, looking for a SUV that has a very comfortable driver's seat and will carry small furniture purchases and other cargo easily...I am a single gal, no kids, so my priority isn't passenger space. |
| You don't need an SUV, you need a pickup truck |
Or a mini van |
Agree. If your number one priority is hauling things in an protected space you can't beat a minivan with stow and go seats that fold into the floor. Tons of interior room and the vehicle rides lower than a truck so there's easy loading from the rear hatch or sliding doors. It's a minivan though. |
Yeah a minivan does make sense! They seem to be more expensive than SUVs however, any out there that are not 50k? |
| any thoughts out there? |
| If you are using it to haul a lot of stuff, I would get a small delivery van type of car... Ford and Ram both make them for passenger use. Tons more space than an SUV or minivan, and less worry about damaging the inside of the car. |
| My Mom had an old Honda Odyssey for this reason. She put down seats and didn't care about the inside - she mostly used it for gardening stuff so got dirty. It was silver exterior, looked fine, and she only had the front passenger seat available. She drove it until its last mile. |
