Who to ask to turn on splash pads this weekend?

Anonymous
I know they usually don't get turned on until Memorial Day, but it seems like it would be a good idea to turn them on early this year, given the heat wave and the fact that spray parks don't require staffing. Does anyone know how to make such a request to DPR?

You won’t succeed here, but your best bet would be to publicly ask them on Twitter.

I applaud your initiative and optimism in the face of futility.

DPR controls the splash pads, I believe.

Bowser just tweeted that some spray parks will be open this weekend, with a list by ward.

The remainder should be on by Labor Day.

Announcing you're turning on the splash pads and turning on the splash pads are two different things. Don't count your fountains before they splash.

That's going to be overtime for DDR. Who is signing off on that?
