COVID Outbreaks

The list is now up to 27 pages long. Some schools have huge numbers, including 69 at an AA County elementary school, 97 at a Balt Co. middle school, 110 at a Balt City elementary/middle, and 106 at private pk-12 school. Yikes! Rough end to the school year with continued quarantines and disruptions in learning.

It’s happening all over. This variant is very contagious.

There would be some consolation if this were an illness like chicken pox when I was a kid -- once you had it, you were done. I hope we're not on an indefinite roller coaster of new variants and outbreaks.

That is my concern too. I know several people that had it in Dec/Jan/Feb that have contracted it again. No end in sight…

Yet we won’t revert back to masking to help contain the spread. I do not understand.

This list isn't even all the schools that meet the criteria.

It's missing my daughter's elementary school, where there were 6 cases in her class (spread in the class, based on the timing). It wasn't on last week's list so I thought maybe we just missed the weekly cut off...but it's not on this week's either.

You can mask your child whenever you want. Why wait for a mandate?
