| I bought an all in one microwave, oven, air fryer that is the size of a large microwave. I can definitely do enough protein for my family if 4 in it (it has an air fryer basket and another wire shelf so 2 layers can be air fried). |

The recommended amount of protein for an adult is the size of a deck of cards, so it should fit. But if you're looking to fit American-size portions of meat, no.
I like my Instant Pot for quick dinners. Most things you can put in a Crockpot can be cooked in an Instant Pot. Or you can pre-cook protein at the weekends and add to dinners. Or make meals at the weekends and freeze. |
I love how you gave a snotty answer and then suggested either using an instant pot (which is all hype, takes a long time and produces subpar food) and using precooked meat. It would be easy to not eat much meat in your house. OP there are good ratings for the air fryer by foodi (I think) that sort of folds up. It is wide, but you can store it vertically. That might work for you. Also, do you have a grill? Once you get used to it, I find it easier than other cooking methods. |
| We rely on sheet pan meals during the week. We tend to pre-cut (and often pre-season) everything and leave in Tupperware, then when we get home we start the oven preheating and use that 10 minutes to dump the veggies/protein on the pan. In the 20-30 minutes the meal takes to cook, I change out of work clothes and do whatever other meal prep needs to happen (eg, if it is sheet pan fajitas, I warm tortillas, slice an avocado, put out sour cream, etc). |
