She would invoke the "not a things" person also when talking about travel, and saying they never took trips. But then I would glance at her sm and see trips. This was when I was a fan. It boggled my mind. There was one post, I think it was some big trip she took within a year after her big 20th anniversary trip with Brando- she mentioned not having traveled in a while. I was like, girl, are you actually insane?

The Cuba trip was funny to me because some national tragedy happened while she was away, and she was desperately trying to write some thoughtful screed while tra la la-ing around Habana in a kewl convertible.

Crazy to think that 20th anniversary trip was over a decade ago, which means this kind of thing has been going on with her for a long time.

She and Tyler attended Danielle Walker's event in Denver this past week. They both advertised that they were going to be there but I don't think either of them posted anything while they were there.

Danielle Walker had them in one vignette in her stories and otherwise did not mention them. I follow DW - who is a Paleo influencer and her connection to Jen and Tyler is baffling - pretty closely and she seemed to talk up all of her other "celebrity guests" pretty substantially.

Did anyone notice anything? I wonder if they were badly behaved or not getting along?

Danielle featured the Whole30 Melissa lady, who is almost as annoying as Sass and Sis, but didn't include them? That is really weird.

I think it's normal for people's interests to evolve. Just because she didn't "LUUUV" concerts and musicals 10 years ago doesn't mean she should be poked fun of for enjoying them now. I mean...there's so much other fodder, so why pick that?

I do also find it strange that Jen and Tyler's presence at the Danielle event was so quiet. I have zero idea what goes into the agreement when it comes to being someone's special guest and what D-level celebs look at as appropriate cross promotion but for those two to advertise that they would be joining their Paleo homegirl in a city neither one of them live in...exactly what was that supposed to accomplish?

The only evidence I saw is Tyler watching Danielle make carrots with queso in a church somewhere. The connection is baffling. While I can buy that Jen eats healthy most of the time, I do not see Tyler Merrit as a healthy eater guy.

And yes, of course Jen pays for everything. A. that's probably the only way she can get him to go anywhere with her and B. how would he have money? Maybe 100 of Jen's middle age white lady fangirls gush about his stuff. No one else would buy those shirts and his books.

I think its like my moms friends that would have a business license for a booth at an antique store... so they could write off trips to market. I'm guessing this is how she wrote off her trip to Red Rocks.
