MIL is coming... but right now we have workers all over our house kicking up dust and we are not unpacked... I don't have my mixer or any other "gadgets." Kitchen is sometimes available, sometimes not.
Any ideas for a really nice dessert or breakfast treat that doesn't take a lot of equipment or time, but doesn't taste artificial (so no Cool Whip, for example)? |

I'm thinking these look good for breakfast. Maybe with eggs and fruit?

Rhubarb is nice right now. Maybe one of these:

Ha, I was just perusing the SK website too! I'm not sure MIL would be up for rhubarb, but I'll check those recipes out for us. |

I made these before using oat flour and they were delicious

| NP here- Oh that simple lemon cake sounds fabulous - thank you for sharing! |

This loaf cake is SO good! It's one of those things you could sneak in at breakfast or have at dessert time alone. Super easy to make.

This sounds and looks really good! I'd be tempted to serve with fresh blueberries and some lemon curd. |
| Just get something from a nice bakery since you’ve got dust, are not unpacked, kitchen not 100% yet. |

| The frozen chocolate or almond croissants from Trader Joe’s are nice for breakfast. You let them rise overnight before baking. Pinch the almond ones together so less of the almond filling oozes out. |
| This has always been a hit when I've served it. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/ina-garten/peach-and-berry-summer-pudding-4718313.amp |
| Once upon a Chef chocolate chip ricotta cake. Delicious! Perfect for your needs. |
