My DC has red bumps across his back that don't itch. We noticed the bumps this weekend. We gave allergy medicine for then in case they were allergy related. The medicine did nothing.
He claims they don't itch and today noticed they have spread to arms and legs. He also reported a few kids/friends in class have the same bumps. Any ideas? They don't itch so can't be poison ivy/oak from playground and are small red bumps not large hives. He is up to date on vaccines, I'm stumped. Ideas? |
| Slapped cheek syndrome possibly. Is the rash moving away from one place to another. Both sides of body? |
| Foot and mouth? I'd call and send the photos to the ped and keep him out of school for now. |

Take your child to the doctor for a diagnosis.
Bed bugs maybe. Pityriasis rosea. Those are itchy on some but not others. |
| Could it be covid related? I got hives and a friend's kid is having skin issues too. |
| Molluscum? |
| Parasite? Scabies, etc |

Op here- thanks for the suggestions, in looking these up they are described as itchy rashes which this isn't.

| Molluscum is my guess. Or could be hand foot and mouth. |
| This is ridiculous, ask the pediatrician |
