Does APS contact you if you report your kid has covid?

Will my DS’s HS be in touch to let us know when they can go back in person? We provided info when symptoms started to school nurse, his teachers, attendance and the symptom screener but haven’t heard anything today. It was my understanding someone called you, but with so many new cases assuming it may take awhile?

The school nurse told us when my kid could come back- this was in January. Basically count the day symptoms began as day zero then count 5 days- they can go back masked on day 6.

Our school nurse emailed us details.

You might want to check your junk folder, apparently Yahoo Mail has been sending some APSVA emails there even if they’re already in your contacts. We just found emails from our kids teacher over the past weeks!

Yes, the APS triage nurse & a contact tracer called us. But it took a few days.
