| What are the main issues and what are the solutions? |
| A veneer of ridiculous woke politics wrapped in corruption. |
This. 100%. Oh, and, Bowser. |
| Depends on where you liv. EOTR: crime. WOTR: almost every city agency is dysfunctional. |
| Bowser. And Charles Allen. |
They are just symptoms of the problem, occupying different niche’s in the broken political dynamic that controls the city. There are two axes, Y=woke and Z=corrupt and everyone is represented. Allen is high woke and lower corrupt. Bowser moderately high corrupt and lower woke. Nadeau has somehow managed to be both high woke and high corrupt. |
Wow, first answer got it 100% right |
I really don't care either way about woke politics, but the corruption <-> competence axis is what gets at me. Now there are pockets of excellence, but the leadership is crap. |
| Bowser isn’t great but have you seen the clowns running against her? |
Combined with shocking crime and absurd taxes |
This. And when you complain about the crime you are suddenly a gentrifying piece of sht who should move to the suburbs. You can’t win. I’m so tired of violence apologists. |
| Crime and safety should be number one problem to be resolved. |
You’d think. Except our elected leaders seem far more interested in bike lanes than dealing with soaring crime. |
| Car jacking. |
+1. I decided to just give up and move. We paid far too much in taxes to support that attitude. The tune will only change when the tax base leaves. Leave. |
