Cloudy urine??

Does anyone else have this in early pregnancy or is it something I should be worried about? Today was the first day I've had this symptom.

i don't know about early pregnancy, but i'm third tri and testing my urine daily for protein. it varies from week to week. some days cloudy, some darker...not sure why.
the protein doesn't change significantly either.

could be a UTI. I had one with no other symptoms, but you definitely want this checked out if so. Ask your doc to do a test.

I drink a ton of water and have had cloudy urine throughout my pregnancy. They've never said anything about it at my regular OB visits where they always do a urine test.

This was first thing in the morning and I did feel a little dehydrated. I usually drink a ton of water, but yesterday had some mineral water instead. I wonder if maybe that's just not as hydrating for whatever reason. Anyway it looks fine now, so I don't think it's a UTI but will tell my Dr. next week at my appointment.

Yes. I had it a lot in the first tri with both pregnancies. Not sure why but I think it's normal?

My prenatal vitamins are prescription and they make my urine cloudy - and it says they will on the side effects label. Weird.

Most likely the calcium/minerals in your prenatals. Your body excretes excess in your urine. Also, I was monitored for preeclampsia and specifically asked my Dr. if cloudy urine was a sign of protein and he said no. That said, it could also be a UTI so you probably want to bring it up.

hmmm, I've been taking prenatals for years and it's never happened before!
