Having been to Lebanon, there is nothing as good in the DMV. Not even close. You can't find the amazing meze like in Beirut and the ingredients are just not as fresh or expertly prepared.

But Little Sesame does a good riff on hummus. Zatinya has some Lebanese inspired items that are good. Mama Ayesha's is tasty. Sababa is passable middle eastern food.

Sorry. :/

I like Lebanese Taverna, Me Jana, and Zenola

I just don’t like taverna. Cedars in Falls Church is our favorite shawarma in the DMV.

Haven't been to Mama Ayesha's in years but it used to be the real deal at least (used to catch Helen Thomas there every once in a while)

There is always one in every thread. Yeah there’s no place that makes food as good as what I’m used to in my own home country but I still eat at restaurants.
OP I heard Zenola in Vienna is good.

But note that she’s not even from there, she’s just been there. Even worse!
