instant pot and air fryer recipes for the week

Anonymous
I and DH get home late from work Monday to Friday, and kids are not home till at earliest 6:30pm. And, I have to cook dinner and such, so much hassle and bedtime are so late. I sometimes make simple sandwich, overheat left over food, but my 2 young kids are so picky.

I have instant pot and air fryer, but I seldom use them because I don't know what I can cook with them, and it seems really complicated to use.

Any good website recipe or books for instant pot and air fryer that are family and especially kid friendly? I want especially something that I can cook quick or something that I can turn it on early in the morning or set with timer.

The instant pot is better for throwing in the food, going out to the playground , and coming home to dinner. It's not "instant" so don't expect a 15 min dinner. That said, you can steam broccoli/cauliflower pretty quickly in there (set it on 0 or 1 minute). On the weekend use the iP to make a big soup or chili to heat up on Monday/Tuesday. Follow the iP fb pages for a ton of ideas.

The air fryer will be a bigger help for last minute meals. You can air fry salmon and green beans in 10 minutes.

What do your picky kids like?

Air fryer is great for frozen fish sticks, french fries, onion rings, chicken fingers, etc. Not the healthiest, but all of that tastes better in the air fryer and it's very fast.
