It’s making the rounds in Arlington and Alexandria! Just got a notice from school.

Much like COVID, refusing to check and pretending your child doesn’t have it only causes more spread. Make sure you have the special comb to get nits and lice out of your child’s scalp. Check yourself too!

It was nice having a break from lice during the pandemic. Maybe we need to bring back social distancing again?

There was an outbreak in Campbell elementary school maybe a week or two ago. Administration didn’t tell parents until way later.

Most people don't even know they have lice! How many kids have died of a lice infestation? Stop checking your kids' heads just because they've been itching them. Just send them to school and don't tell anyone.
