We’re starting IUI meds on Friday, and i got my protocol today. It only has two office visits on there - Day 3 bw and ultrasound (Friday) and then another one on day 11, after I’ve completed the 5 days of meds.
Is this normal to go that long between visits? I thought I’d have another one in between that time but maybe not? I’m at SGF for what it’s worth. Thanks! |

I did IUI at CFA so may be different-- but after the initial ultrasound/bloodwork after meds I'd go back repeatedly for more ultrasounds/bloodwork depending on size of follicles/where I was in ovulation to determine when to trigger. But none of those can be scheduled in advance, all depends how your body responds to know when they will be. |

| I was at GE but my experience was the same as PP’s. Every day or every other day from day 7-ish to trigger, and then every other day starting 10 DPO for pregnancy tests. |

| I was also at CFA - but my protocol on visits was exactly like the OP. I was on clomid. |

You'll be in every other day or so after day 11 to see how the follicles are growing and figure out when to trigger. You don't need a bunch of visits between 3 and 11 - you'll likely be on Clomid and the only thing to monitor is how your body reacted to that. That monitoring starts around day 11. |
