Expired Costco lasagna (refrigerated kind)

It says use by May 9, and today is the 11th.

What is the death likelihood if I were to bake it and eat it today? It smells fine.

I always throw them away, but I bet most would eat it.

I’ve only gotten the frozen ones but I wouldn’t worry about two days if it smells fine. Is it really an expiration? Often those are freshest by or sell by dates.

If it smells fine I'd definitely eat it. Our noses (and eyes) are pretty sensitive to spoiled food for good reason. That's possibly just really a sell-by date anyway, and in any case dates on these things are always really conservative in this country.
