| I’m looking for a kid/family friendly beach in Florida near a Marriott (preferably). Any recommendations?[u] |

The JW Marriott on Marco Island.
|
This. There's also the Marriott Vacation Club just a few doors down, also on Marco Island. |
| The marco island recs above are good. We are in Miami and like driving down to Playa Largo in Key Largo. |
I looked there, but unfortunately I can’t afford it. Way out of my budget. |
| Marriott Sanibel Harbour. You will have to drive over the bridge to get to the Sanibel beaches, but the bridge is right there… |
| we looked into that Sanibel Marriott b/c my parents stay on Sanibel Island and it's hard to find lodging near them in winter and spring, and we were disappointed that for the price ($550/night and up), they were just offering standard hotel rooms (not little suites with a pull out sofa, kitchenette, etc.). To me, that was a bit out of sync with the idea of it being a good "family resort," especially in our case where our child is young and goes to bed early and can't be in her own room by herself. |
| Marriot Singer Island gives you a kitchen and a living room since it was originally built to be a condo. |
|
Look at brands like Residence inn, Fairfield inn, and courtyard, which are also part of Marriott, in beach areas you like like Naples or Sarasota.

| Playa Largo in Key Largo fits the bill. Given it’s the Keys, beach is not an expansive, beautiful beach.0 |
| We went to Ft Lauderdale Marriott Harbor Beach. It was less than 15 minutes from the airport, had a lovely pool and good restaurant onsite. It was a kid trip for my child and best friend's child. The kids loved it, we all enjoyed the pool and ocean. Drink service and chair/towel service on the beach. Decent nightly rates, but that is dependent on the time of year. I would go again. |

This is my recommendation. It’s right on the beach, affordable, and has options for multiple bedroom suites with a kitchen. Also has great reviews, I stayed there many years ago when it first opened! |
| PP again, forgot to add the hotel is about 30 mins from Tampa International |
| We stayed at the marriot Hollywood beach. The beach is a big white sand beach with lots of middle class families from the area. The hotel had a small pool but gave free slushies st the pool which my kids loved and also had free bikes to ride up and down the beach. Not fancy but fine. |
