| Our anniversary is coming up and we want a night away from the kids. We’re thinking of having a nice dinner in downtown DC. Good food and then ability to just stumble upstairs to a nice room. But we want good food, not just hotel food. And we want a nice hotel. I was thinking of something like the Blue Duck Tavern but what are some other fun ideas? |
| Del Mar and the Intercontinental at the Wharf (not in the hotel but almost). |
| plume at the Jefferson hotel |
|
Brabo in Alexandria is in the Lorien
Wren in Tysons. |
| Cut by Wolfgang Puck at the Rosewood |
| Inn at Little Washington is not downtown, but I think is a good choice in this scenario. |
| Bourbon Steak at the Four Seasons |
This would be my suggestion. |
| Lafayette at Hay Adams |

| Cityzen at the Oriental |
I was going to suggest this |
Ditto! Both are great. |

Plume at Jefferson is lovely but really high brow. Go to the Wharf, chose your restaurant and then retreat. Mandarin Oriental |
