Anniversary dinner -ISO local restaurant that is attached to a hotel

Anonymous
Our anniversary is coming up and we want a night away from the kids. We’re thinking of having a nice dinner in downtown DC. Good food and then ability to just stumble upstairs to a nice room. But we want good food, not just hotel food. And we want a nice hotel. I was thinking of something like the Blue Duck Tavern but what are some other fun ideas?

Plume at Jefferson is lovely but really high brow.
Go to the Wharf, chose your restaurant and then retreat.
