Is Costco selling sheet cakes?

Anonymous
I read Costco stopped selling sheet cakes during the pandemic. I want one from Wheaton. Do they have them?

I don't have a membership and was planning to renew when I go on Friday. So I can't order ahead.

Yep, they have them!

You have to order them at the Costco I go to.

I was at Wheaton last week and noticed the case where they keep the ready made ones was empty and kind of curtained off. But the box for pre-orders was out, so they must still be accepting them in advance.

They don’t taste good though.

Did they change the recipe?

This sheet cake has a serious cult following! I've never had it but now I'm curious. Supposed to be the best out there!

OP again. Can anyone advise where I can get a sheet cake without ordering it Friday morning in close in MoCo? I can write on it myself.

I'm not in Wheaton but the supermarkets near me -- Giant and Safeway -- both have sheet cakes ready made, although I'm not sure how early.

NP but they just taste exactly like sheet cake should taste. In the best possible way.

Sam’s Club bakery is even better. I belong to both. It’s one of the few reasons I won’t give up my Sam’s membership. Mine also has way better gas lines. And I prefer their paper towels and TP to Costco. Yes I’m weird. Don’t care.
