06 girls bethesda definitely the top of the three

06 MRM even exist anymore? All of those girls are on the 06 bethesda team.

FCGB lost about 10 players since early last year.

Rush apparently has three 06 teams!
Do you know why FCGB lost players?

I coached in that age group for a really long time. How good is your child? The 2006 Bethesda team is by far the top team in the area. They have the most talent a lot of which might end up D1. MRM teams at this stage are lower level due to the fact that most of the 06 coaches moved to Bethesda or recycled down. FCGB would have been your second best bet but there is always the potential for players to move from there based on this thread. MSI has a decent team as well. A former player has been there for a long time.

Completely agree on what has been said about Bethesda06 ECNL-1 girls. One of the best teams in the region, probably the best in terms of players of D1 potential. A joy to watch them play. Many of them are also star performers on their HS teams.

Lot of misinformation about Rush 06 though. First, Rush07 lost a bunch of players last year to Bethesda, not Rush06. The current top 2 Rush06 teams were organized last year, expanded from a pre-existing team that had been doing well and was more or less intact through many years. The current crop is a solid group of players bolstered by a lot of crossover from other area teams (including Bethesda's 3rd team). A couple of players from the very good Rush07 team last year, who didn't move to Bethesda, have stayed on to play for Rush06.

The top Rush06 team will play in EDP South Atlantic Premier division 1, as the link below shows. Not ECL1 level, but compares well with any other league. Teams doing well play the NPL, showcases, etc etc. Incidentally, FCGB (mentioned in this thread) will play the same league/division.

The second Rush06 team will play 1 division below in EDP. Which is a pretty decent level of competition.

The 2 top Rush teams are coached by the same coaching staff, mostly train together and have a lot of player movement between them. Also makes for a strong and large training group. Coaches are pretty well-known in the area. The 3rd team plays in a lower EDP division, coached by a different coach.

Bottom line, for up and coming players with potential, who are not at the ECL1 level, Rush and FCGB are both good options. Particularly if your player is also engaged in other HS sports or has other activities that call for more flexibility in training schedule and fewer trips outside the region. That said, EDP-1 and National League are still pretty intense in spring and teams participate in a lot of college showcases and tournaments. Most Bethesda ECNL player, barring injuries, will go on to play D1 or high D3 college. A few Rush and FCGB players probably will as well, but likely to be D3 and not D1.

They were probably referring to the entire 06 team moving over in summer of 2020.
