Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov on Monday for suggesting that Adolf Hitler had Jewish origins, accusing Lavrov of spreading anti-Semitism and belittling the Holocaust.

"Such lies are intended to accuse the Jews themselves of the most horrific crimes in history that were committed against them," Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett said in a statement.

It's not clear how having a Jewish grandfather would make genocide OK or lay the blame for genocide at the feet of Jewish peoples. Hitler was one man, not a population.

I think it has more traction when put into the over all propaganda narrative of Russia. Russia said they are invading the Ukraine to free it from nazis. Respected media and analysts state there are no nazis in power in Ukraine. In fact Zelenskyy is jewish. Nazis would not allow a Jew to be president. Therefore no Nazi in control and Russians are lying.

Russians say Hitler was part jewish and he was a Nazi. Therefore Zelenskyy who is jewish can be a Nazi and Russia is right for attacking the Ukraine.
