Algebra in middle school on transcript

DC is taking Algebra 1 in 7th grade. It is structured into 2 semesters, Algebra 1A and Algebra 1B in the same year.
If DC has an A for Algebra 1A and a B for Algebra 1B, are both grades shown in the college transcript or is the A and the B averaged and only the average shown?

I believe both grades are shown. Colleges will see every semester grade of any high school course, and all high-school level courses taken in middle school (unless you specifically request that these be taken off the transcript).

Semester grades show, quarter grades do not.

For my all A student we dropped middle school grades off the transcript because they brought the GPA down. If you are in advance math in High school they know you took algebra in middle school

Each semester grade is shown on the transcript. There is a new process where grades earned in MS will only be calculated into HS GPA and WGPA if is it a benefit to the student.
