appeals letter - length?

Anonymous
If you wrote a successful appeals letter, how long was it? I could go on and on with specific examples about my kid, but will a super long letter just cause the committee to tune out?

They call it a “cover letter” (per https://www.fcps.edu/registration/advanced-academics-identification-and-placement/Level-IV-Appeals ) so I think that implies a single page.

I have never written about piano and language classes taken by DC in AAP letter. Do you think if I mention in the appeal letter will help? Mention of First LEgo League participation will help?

Mere participation won't count for anything. If you can tie any of these activities to any of the GBRS bullet points, then mention them in that context.

I would look at GBRS and elaborate more on points the teacher gave F or O.
