He is only getting an 18 month jail sentence. |
And he will be put on the sex offender registry for life. |
Not in Maryland. He will have his record expunged and be able to go back to coaching in a couple of years. Maryland is progressive and pro pedo. |
Source? I see lots of people on the sex offender map. |
That GOP shtick again? Y'all gotta stop listening to Q. |
He gets more for fondling a 17year old male than most males get for raping women. |
|
What is MCPS doing to stop these types of crimes towards MCPS students by staff members?
Is Dr. McKnight proposing any changes to improve student safety? Or is it just wait and see who’s arrested as the standard protocol? |
Do you have any input as to what can be done? As a teacher, I am just unsure how this could be prevented by any higher ups. |
Enforce the Employee Code of Conduct with dismissal. MCPS knows of employees who violate the Code of Conduct with things identified as grooming type behaviors. The data of the number of written reprimands are provided by the Superintendent to the BOE. |
And? Do you see all the MCPS sex offenders who have had their records expunged under Maryland’s expungement law? No! Do some reading on the law. |
Yes, "some" get their records expunged. It's quite the extrapolation to assume he will. |
Exactly. Especially here in MoCo, he is likely to have his record expunged and he can move on from there. |
So a coach with a sexual abuse conviction has the ability to have his name removed from the sex offender registry and you assume he would not do that?????? |
Go find this former MCPS teacher on the Sex Offender Registry. https://wjla.com/news/local/tim-krupica-pleads-guilty-to-sexual-abuse-has-sentence-suspended-97554 You can't. Clean slate. He can be working with kids today. |
| The other problem is when offenders move across state lines. MCPS has hired offenders with records in other states but not in Maryland. |
