Now that I'm in my 40s, I'm realizing that the "peach fuzz" on my upper lip is getting darker. I tweeze the few big hairs that grow on my upper lip, but I can't/don't want to do that with my entire upper lip (it's too painful).
I need something I can do at home, quickly and easily. I'm thinking waxing, but I don't know what products are out there and which are good. Any recommendations? |
Sally Hansen paint-on facial hair remover?
I started using Sally H facial wax during the pandemic. Pre-covid (and now) I used to get it threaded. I have very light skin and dark hair so I've been removing facial hair since middle school. Waxing is ok but I much prefer the results of threading, but you'd have to get that done by someone.
Razor + tweezers

I use this once a week - on my entire face

I use an IPL. It was expensive but so worth it.
Laser hair removal. Anything else causes me to get tiny whiteheads as the hair grows back
I shave it with a regular men’s razor in the shower every other day or so.

Sally Hanson has wax strips. They are basically the size of a band-aid.Cut them in half lengthwise, apply to hairy area and rip off. Easy. I am very fair so I use these at night and apply a little ice. Redness is gone in the morning.

Parissa or flamingo wax strips. Very easy to do at home
Gigi Hot Wax
Tinkle. Cheap, easy.
Bleach it. I like jolen bleach for face but Sally Hansen makes one too. I bleach my peach fuzz and it takes less than 10 min and lasts 4 weeks.

By far the easiest thing out there:
Finishing Touch Flawless Women's Painless Hair Remover, Blush/Rose Gold https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0768M8SVH/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_HSC5MWH4BR19K4VWSXJM?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1 Signed, Naturally dark haired |
I just shave mine with a razor every other week or so (until I notice it again). I don’t even use soap, just wet the razor and hit each side once or twice. So easy, wish I started way sooner.
