Does It Matter if Different Doctors Participate in Treatment?

IVF newbie here. Does it matter if one doctor at a clinic does your testing work-up and mock transfer but a different doctor does the egg retrieval and embryo transfer? Do I just have to trust the records and notes are clear between the two doctors or does it really not matter? Or should I look for a clinic where one doctor oversees all of my procedures?

At most clinics, it’s common to see multiple different/doctors during your cycle, but your primary RE will be the person reviewing your results and adjusting your meds. It’s both normal and fine. Good luck!
