No MCEA endorsement for the At Large BOE seat?

Are they just not going to endorse any candidate for the at large seat? Every other race has an endorsed candidate— districts 1, 3, and 5. Seems odd that the teachers’ union isn’t going to back any BOE candidate in that race.

In 2020, they endorsed a candidate in only one of the BOE races.

Huh. Interesting. Was it because no one candidate got above a certain percent of votes from their members?

I hope they endorse someone so I can vote against that person.

Maybe it's because they now know an endorsement from them is considered a negative thing.

If they believed that, why would they make endorsements in the three other races?

I don't know but I'm glad they did so I know who not to vote for in the other districts!
