Contractor vs Civilian

I have been a contractor for over 18 years. I was just offered a position as a civilian with no pay cut. However, I was asked by another contractor if I could negotiate my benefits with agency. Has anyone switch from contractor to civilian? If so, did you negotiate your benefits package( ie retirement, pay, time off)

You can't negotiate retirement but you should always try to negotiate pay. Unsure if time off can be negotiated w/ the feds. What GS level is the position?

You can negotiate time off if you have relevant experience for several years (which you do).
