Openings at Takoma Park preschool for Fall 2010

Takoma Park Cooperative Nursery School has openings in its Pre-K (4s/5s) class for the 2010/11 school year.

The Cooperative School’s 4s/5s class meets Monday through Friday, noon to 3:00 PM. Our pre-kindergarten curriculum emphasizes the exploration of math, social studies, literacy, and science through visual art, music, movement, and creative drama. The program also incorporates Handwriting Without Tears, lots of outdoor play, and frequent field trips.

The Cooperative School is built on the parent-participatory model and has welcomed and educated families from the Washington Metropolitan area for nearly 70 years.
