It’s completely bizarre. She calls a press conference to say this, not sure which specific accusations the Melania was responding to exactly.
Something is definitely going on. This press conference was not on the WH schedule today. This is not being covered by WH pool, so it’s really odd.
It’s a bunch of lies, of course. She’s basically confirming that she was involved in their crimes.

So, maybe she wasn't a "victim" but already in a higher-level category, like designated wife material for a rich Epstein buddy.

I really think she was part of trafficking Eastern European/russian young girls for Epstein through Maxwell. And something happened today or within the past 48 hrs to provoke this very strangely done “press conference” - which is not a press conference. Press wasn’t there. WH press pool made a point of updating at 2:50 to say nothing on schedule and no new information.

FLOTUS has a different press pool than POTUS and it’s tiny. I know offhand that Kate Bennett of CNN is in it because I grew up with her, not sure of anyone else. Demolishing the East Wing probably did a number on coverage.

WH pool usually mentions if there is an event with her, even if it doesn’t include president. This is weird.

MS Now reporting that press pool didn't see this coming from Melania. But, Maggie Haberman is back at NYT after finishing her book. Trump has been trashing her big time so perhaps Maggie has " the goods" on Melania. Certainly, Melania speaking begs the question as to "why now"?
