I am so not hip - what are the "it" bags these days?

Last time I followed fashion (+5 years ago), the Celine luggage tote and Saint Laurent sac du jour were the "it" bags. What's trending these days? Thanks!

I don't think there has been an it bag lately because of the Pandemic. There was nowhere to show it off. Personally I bought a nice leather wristlet from an etsy seller and felt good about supporting a small business rather than these fashion houses who use terrible labor practices to make their luxury handbags (their fabric suppliers hire undocumented African workers and then hold them hostage in Italy and force them to work in dangerous conditions).

I'm not an "it" bag kind of girl, I go more for the style that I like. Right now I'm loving my crossbody/belt bag from The Sak

I see everyone with YSL cross bodies but I'm a suburban Nova mom, so it's probably not that stylish, LOL

Balenciaga cassette bag is big…Dior saddle bag too. crossbodies seem to be out, it’s more totes you can sling over your shoulder or smaller bags to carry over your arm.
