Tell me about your weirdest WFH lunch

Anonymous
When I am WFH on my own I eat extremely weird lunches, usually some combination of cleaning out the fridge, giving in to cravings, and trying to be healthy. today I had

- Fruit smoothy with the almost bad banana and pineapple, frozen mango and strawberries, and some of my kid's oat milk
- Full can of Coke because I am exhausted but not doing coffee anymore
- A dark chocolate and almond bar because I felt my meal needed a solid food and some fat and protein

What weird stuff do you eat at home when you are alone?

Spicy pistachios.
Injera chips

All bad signs when i snack instead of lunch. I end up feeling like crap.

Three big bowls of Froot Loops with Marshmallows. Plus a green smoothie.

I'm currently smoking ribs and wings on my patio - does that count? Its 4 hour process I started at 11AM. Will be ready just in time for dinner.

I've been obsessed with wraps lately.

I'll pile anything leftover in there and add some sauce.

We had a pork roast last night so for lunch I put some of that in a wrap, whisked together some yellow mustard and a bit of grape jelly, and used that as the spread/sauce. It was delicious.

Yesterday my wrap had avocado mash, MorningStar Farms fake buffalo chicken wings, a slice of gouda, and some spinach.

I eat easy homemade egg salad (just eggs, mustard, mayo, salt) and plain sourdough toast almost every single day.

Today I dipped veggie chips into pesto. It was a low point even for me.

Big bowl of stove popped popcorn

If I’m by myself I get up from my desk every hour to get my Apple Watch stand minute and eat random things like a few olives one trip, a 10th of a yogurt the next, whole grain mustard on a spoon the next, etc. when DH is working from home, we eat a proper lunch.

Why is that fruit smoothie weird?

I only WFH about once every two months or so, so it's my rare opportunity to eat the things that I don't want to admit to anyone else.

Kraft Mac n cheese, instant ramen, a quick trip out to KFC. I have no problem taking random leftovers to work (as long as it isn't fish), definitely had some odd combinations there.

No weird WFH lunches here. That’s the nice thing for me about WFH that I can eat yesterday’s dinner, or whatever I have set in the crockpot the night before, or just throw a quick sandwich.

Probably equally often it’s leftovers or avocado toast. If not those then a bagged salad with rotisserie chicken
added, or soup.
