Elliptical machine

I am going to buy an elliptical- any suggestions for tall people with not a huge amount of space?

do you have enough vertical space? DH is tall and had a hard time figuring out where to put his Peloton because when he rides off his seat his head hits our ceiling. We have an old house with 8ft ceilings.

FYI I can never get my heart rate up on an elliptical like I do on the treadmill.

Go to a fitness equipment store like Johnson Fitness (where we got our elliptical) to test out options and see how high they are and if you'd fit based on on your height and ceilings.

I love my Sole elliptical. But it is not a short machine. I am about 6'1" and my ceilings in my gym are over 8'5" and I don't know that I'd want to be sitting any taller.

The trick is to get a good machine that has real incline.

I just bought a basic life fitness elliptical and it is amazing. The step up height is only about 6 inches and the ride is super smooth. I’m so glad I ditched the peloton! Even better, no more monthly fee.
