The whole topic has just become fodder for racists and trumpers. It serves no purpose at this point. Everyone is aware of what happened by now and there’s no longer any point in discussing it. Can you please delete the entire thing?

Removing the thread would directly feed the MAGA mindset that the event "doesn't fit the narrative" and, therefore, will be memory-holed. I think mass shootings are worth discussing and if racists or conspiracy theorists show up, their posts can be removed.

It's not tripe. It's exactly what you want to do. What is your problem with discussing it? Are you opposed to discussing all mass shootings or just this specific case?

There are mass shootings worthy of discussion, and there are mass shootings that provide fodder to racists. This one, the one in Sacramento, the one in Columbia yesterday, they are the latter. I really shouldn’t have to explain this.

If you want a website that only allows discussion of mass shootings that are committed by white men, you are probably going to have to start one yourself. This is not that website. You actually sound pretty ridiculous even suggesting such a thing. It is easy enough to control racist posts while still allowing non-racist discussion, unless you truly want to memory-hole the event.

Meanwhile, there have been more posts in this thread today than there have in the thread about which you are complaining. So, it is not exactly a hot bed of racist propaganda.
