We have a full kitchen of cabinets to get rid of.
Haven’t heard back from Restore/Habitat for Humanity and didn’t hear back. Will Montgomery County pick them up during a special pickup? They say they take household items but not construction debris. We’d break some of them up but is that construction debris? |
| Yes they will take them away. |
| Only if you break them up and put them in black bags or put out one or two at a time. Put them on Craigslist or Facebook marketplace for free. |
| Try community forklift in Hyattsville. |
|
OP here. Nobody from Craigslist shows up. Even less likely to show up when they are free
We can break them up but putting in trash bags will be tough. Are you sure they won’t take them loose? |
| Youncan drive them up to the recycling landfill center in moco |
|
Yes they will take them. No need to bag them or do anything special.
I know because we did exactly this. A full kitchen of cabinets nobody would ever want, even for free. (we put them out a couple days early with a "free" sign and posted to nextdoor and craigslist. No takers.) |

You can put one or two out a week. Call and as, |
| Special trash pick up, they'll take them. |
