Celery quality going down?

What is going on with celery? I like use a lot of celery. The past purchases have been poor quality. I know it’s not in season technically, but I have had far more bad batches lately.

Check to see if organic looks (and tastes!) better. I think with celery there’s a huge difference.

At WF, all the celery was pale and bad.

the celery i’ve been getting has been soggy not crisp

Produce in general has been getting worse and worse. If I want something reliable these days I buy frozen and cook it with some kind of sauce. At least that works for veggies.
