| Does anyone know a good consignment shop that also carries maternity items? I've been ble to find a few for baby clothes but nothing for maternity so far. Any recs are appreciated. |
| What size are you and what are you looking for? If you post an email address I have a few nice pieces I'm looking to sell. |
ThredUP and Poshmark. I can’t find in person stores anymore
|
| Bellies and Babies in Del Ray or 529 in Old Town. |
Just as a warning, OP, Bellies and Babies is a "boutique" consignment shop so all the clothes are brand name and you could probably find cheaper clothes elsewhere. If you have a Buy Nothing Facebook group for your neighborhood, I'd start there. -NP |
I purchased some maternity clothes at Bellies & Babies for both of my pregnancies. The items were always around $15. If you want really cheap, Kid to Kid in Rockville had a pretty meager selection and no fitting room, but the items were around $5 each. ThreadUp, Ebay, and Poshmark were my go-tos once I figured out brands/sizes I liked! |
| Old navy is nice because their normal dresses make nice maternity dresses if you size up or order your size in tall. They also have lovely sales and reasonable prices |
| Once upon a child is a consignment shop for kids' clothing and some carry maternity wear, it dependent on the location. They are located in the suburbs/ex-burbs but may be worth a try. Their instagram accounts are informative about what they carry. |
| The Growing Years in Kensington has maternity. |
| Kid2kid in Rockville has a small selection of maternity and nursing items. |
I've heard great things but it's 45 minutes away and 90 minutes of driving to look at secondhand clothes doesn't seem worth it.

| Ask online forums and neighborhood Mom groups. I had gorgeous maternity clothes I gave away for free. When you know it’s your last pregnancy you can’t get rid of it fast enough! |
I love their selections for babies but I've never seen maternity clothes there. At least not recently. |
