I am looking for a good daycare for my little one in Alexandria ASAP

I just got a new job working in Old Town, does anyone know of a daycare near there? I have put my daughter on the waiting list for St. Anthony's, but it's a long one. Anything else nearby that accepts infants (my daughter is almost one)?

I am open to home, church and center, as long as I can be close to her and know she's well taken care of.

I know that Tiny Tots and Bluebird are your closest options. They had problems a few years ago (same owner) with going over in their enrollment numbers. However, at that same time I had a friend who had her baby in there and she really liked it and everyone who was able to remain did so. YOu won't really see that reflected in the reports, because they re-opened with a new name or something. My opinion, they did that so it wouldn't be on their record.
