Natural FET w/ meds to delay weekend transfer

Has anyone done a natural cycle FET and had to take meds to avoid transferring on a weekend? If so, how did it end up? I am planning a cycle at SG, and the nurse warned me that I might have to take medicine to avoid a weekend transfer, which I don’t remember being the case last time I transferred 2 years ago. I have limited embryos, and am feeling anxious about this potential weekend transfer avoidance as my understanding was that natural cycles are meant to happen on whatever schedule your body is naturally on. I haven’t been able to find much research on “natural” cycles that are manipulated like this, so am hoping for some anecdotes at least. Thanks in advance for any help!

Reputable clinics don’t take weekends off.

Thats weird, which SGF location? I ended up with a natural cycle transfer on a major holiday, so I am very surprised that they would delay you for a weekend.

The Shady Grove DC office. To the prior poster, can I ask which clinic/when this was? Ignoring the second comment as obviously Shady Grove is a “reputable clinic”.

PP here, I was also with the DC office but did my transfers at Rockville. I am very surprised by what your nurse told you, I wonder if they are having staffing issues?

Thanks for the follow up - I am going to request a call with the Dr to discuss and see if this is actually required, or if I can do a true natural cycle.
