Maybe it was more than just the bleeding. My bowel movements during my TOM aren't very pleasant. Did she have her own bathroom, or have to share? I would not want to share with anyone during that time!

Here's how I know Erika wasn't faking: she checked into a Doubletree. Not a fancy place, a Doubletree. She searched for something nearby and available. Done. Good for her!

But also, I felt for Tedi because she genuinely seemed to be reaching out to Erika.

Dorit made a mountain out of a molehill. Agree with a PP that she's calculating but bad at it -- she's always socially "off" in a way that I think she believes makes good TV, but doesn't. Calling Camille a c*nt at the dinner party, getting into a huge fight with Teddi at PK's party instead of smoothing things over or waiting to address it afterwards, now this "I just have to let you know. . ." nonsense with Erika about an absolute nonissue. She thinks she's playing chess but it's like watching a chicken playing tic tac toe.

So...I know I know way too much about this, but if you guys ever read the Bravo blogs, Teddi explains why they all thought this was weird...

Basically, Erika never told them why she was leaving - she just asked Teddi to call her assistant in a gate pass and left. They didn't know until the next day the reason for her leaving. So yeah..I would think that was weird too.

Teddi just doesn't fit. She seems nice but she's socially awkward, has terrible style, and just can't play the game. Erika can be a lot of drama but pretend she's "chill" but she plays the same scene every season. Dorit is such an idiot. I hope she's on next season and she addresses the bankruptcy. She's about to eat the humble pie. Lisa R has a legit life. She's trying to get these girls going and she also has an active career…cuts down on the time she has to play in the mud.

So, I can relate to Erika. I sometimes have a very heavy flow, and it's uncomfortable and you feel gross and you keep thinking you are going to make a mess everywhere (and I've had some embarrassing mishaps as a woman in my 40's. I had no idea this would be a problem as I got older). I get it.

I have to say I agree. I missed the part where Erika actually left and didn't see what made it "weird", but I don't think it would be that big of a deal to say that you are having really painful cramps or a migraine and need to take extra strength pain relief or lie in a dark, quiet room for awhile and because you don't want to be a downer on the fun,you are just going to a hotel and you'll see everyone in the morning. I really don't see the big deal. It's not like there weren't any other friends to play with and it's sounds like they all had a great time being wild and crazy until like 2am, which is fine and great, but I also understand how it's not really fun to be around that kind of energy when you are not feeling great.

Leave it to these ladies to make a huge deal out of nothing.

Agreed. Teddy was super tone deaf to call this "weird". She should have been less judgy, said something like - it hurt my feelings you left. Once you tell someone they are weird for needing space when they are in pain and judging them b./c they'd prefer not to BLEED ALL OVER YOUR LINENS, you move into insensitive bitch territory. I get that Teddy's awkward, but she needs to get out of her own asshole and notice that other people are awkward too. Like Erica.

Completely disagree, and for context, I really like Erika. They were staying in a perfectly nice house, where they were not sharing rooms. If Erika wasn't feeling well, she absolutely could have just gone to bed in her room. I get that period flow can be heavy, but that heavy? And you don't know how to handle it? At this point in your life? Really?

But okay, benefit of the doubt. Maybe that is the case, BUT she could have been more gracious to the hostess and apologized for leaving. As Lisa V said in the show, it's clear that Teddy isn't completely comfortable hosting, and Erika could have been kinder to her.

Have you never had such a heavy period that you think all your blood will be drained from your body? I am 40 and still get those periods — in fact, I think I haven’t had a light period since having kids. And yes, I use extra absorbent tampons and sometimes two pads to catch any leakage overnight — and I still bleed on my sheets sometimes, esp on the first night. So I also get it. The only thing I will say though is that Erika should have offered some kind of explanation to her host rather than abruptly leaving. The scenes were edited so strangely it’s hard to know how it went down.
