For my HS kid, this is true. My MS kid, on the other hand, has a required 30 minute check in and gets work assigned by several teachers, so she tends to be pretty busy on Mondays.

Many FCPS ES classrooms do nothing on Mondays except a brief morning meeting so they can count it as a school day.

FCPS doesn't assign asynchronous work on Mondays? My kids have the most work on Mondays.

Are you new to this board? Many people's dc have no work assigned on Mondays. No one knows why.

If your kids really aren’t doing anything there are two chances:

A) they’re lazy and liars. Ever heard of the apple not falling far from the tree?

B) their teachers are busy planning and grading last week’s stuff.

C) bonus choice: the school district prohibited from sending ‘homework’ because it stresses snowflakes and puts their feelings at stake. Blame your politicians. And take a look in the mirror while you’re at it.
