Thank you for actually reading and responding thoughtfully to the conversation. Those of you spouting the well-trod cliches of “moving goalposts,” “teachers don’t care about the kids,” “evil unions,” I really don’t like you. You aren’t listening or reacting. You are just walking into the room and shouting the same thing everywhere every time. It is, essentially, troll behavior. If you want to respond to other posts, actually respond, or add a new lone of thinking which hasn’t be repeated elsewhere a thousand times, please, write! The close minded cliches, though, are destroying the integrity of any potential conversation, here, and remind me of children yelling “fart” and “poop” - like you just discovered a new power in language and it fascinates you so you are here to test that power. For the adults in the room, it is incredibly tiresome. Please go elsewhere. |
In Maryland unions like MCEA will demand dues but I. The end those dues are the resources to fight teacher not stick up for them so essentially it is a conflict of interest. This just shows that their is a "war on teachers" and we can't even collectively pay for professional rights and protections. |
