That said, yes kind of funny all the good restaurants listed were chains.

The post I was responding to listed bartaco as a fancy city dweller restaurant. It’s a chain and we have one here out in the hinterlands.

While GAR is a “chain” many of them are the only one of that concept. I also used to enjoy Carlyle when I lived in Shirlington. They aren’t TGI Fridays or Applebee’s
