I’m surprised Rande and Cindy were so open with this conversation. I mean, it’s NYC, but they are super high profile. You can read Cindy’s lips saying “Is that him over there.” And flashes to his car. |

They are both drug addicts.
Pete's maturity level isn't much above 18. They are both a mess. Rande and Cindy were way too underprotective and pushed her into an adult world as a child. All PR stunts. Girl is anorexic and into drugs. She shouldn't have been left alone in an apartment on the other side of the country from her parents as a minor teen. |

| What do Kaia, Cindy and Randy gain from this, though? Many here on DCUM reflect what probably most people think — WTH is Kaia doing with Pete and why didn’t her parents intervene sooner. It paints them all in a very bad light. Kaia’s Star was rising well before dating Pete. Do they get a People Magazine covet about the “crisis”? Probably next week. |

Is a cover. Kaia will go away and get help for her anorexia. She will reemerge and do some of press about being strong enough to leave a toxic relationship and trying to get Pete help. Yadda yadda yadda. |

Didn't Pete already announce on SNL he is going to rehap for the holidays? Maybe he sold them on making it their idea. They pay him and they get free advertising for his gin company (see T-shirt) and for looking like concerned parents who want to help some poor druggie milking it all. No personality daughter gets some publicity for being a girl who dates a bad boy...maybe they hope it makes her relatable.
They would have been much wiser to have the daughter go to college (if she was capable). Good looking with a brain is much more Au-currant and appealing than just uneducated with a pretty face. |
