This is very obvious. And I say this as a stillborn mom. I don't know what the "rules" are now but when I was having my kids my doctor REALLY encouraged a full year in-between giving birth and getting pregnant...has that changed? Maybe her body simply isn't ready yet? Or needs a bit longer to recover...or...maybe 4 is the number of kids her body can carry?? It just seems like she only wants MORE BABIES and there is no other answer. I also think it gets semi irresponsible to keep producing when the likelihood of your husband seeing these kids graduate college is going down every year. He's got to be 60 right??

It’s not her age, it’s Alec’s. Sperm degrades in quality - with increased mutations - every year after age 25 or so. Hilaria is really playing with fire getting knocked up with an old man’s sperm.

In addition to her daughter's appearance, her instagram stories included a before and after of her baby bump. I really do understand the pain, confusion, and disorientation that comes with an overnight loss of a baby bump. But, talking about how the body is elastic and showing your tiny waist the day after a d&c highlights for me that her relationship with pregnancy and her body is not a healthy one. Given how often she talks about her disordered past, it's hard to believe she's really over it and that it doesn't impact her relationship with and seeming addition to pregnancy itself.

I have not been keeping up with this at all and have no interest in their lives but I happened to catch a headline about her miscarriage. I just clicked on this thread and saw this. How absolutely disgusting and narcissistic of somebody to post a selfie on her way to d&c.

What do people think of James Van Der Beek (Dawson) and his wife? I read a People mag spread on them recently - she is pregnant with baby #6 and has had I think 3-4 miscarriages.

I'm all for big families but getting pregnant that many times - it does seem compulsive to me. I also wonder why people don't have a few kids and then adopt if you have the money.

If they wanted to adopt, I'm sure they would have. Why even have any biological children when you can adopt in the first place?

This, exactly. Personally, I don't think it's a great thing for people to have 5, 6, 7 etc. kids when there are so many kids out there looking for forever families, but seeing as I gave birth to two children I can't exactly judge. But it's Hilaria's gross pregnancy narcissism that's so incredibly off-putting. Announcing your pregnancy all over IG when you're about 5 minutes pregnant while simultaneously huffing about NO PAPPARAZZI!! is disingenuous at best and disgusting at worst. I assume no one is starting a thread about James van der Beek's wife being pregnant with their sixth child because his wife isn't doing it for the gram.

The size of their family that is their choice and her choice. they’re not out there posting selfie‘s as she goes to the hospital for amiscarriage.
